We need to take care of our mental health just like we do our physical health. All of us can benefit from learning stress management techniques and coping skills. Three things you can do today:
- Begin to focus on the good, even when life is hard. Remind yourself what you’ve learned through hard times and disappointment. Look inward at how you’ve grown. Stop negative self-talk.
- Write down or keep in mind anything that makes you smile.
- Reach out to a friend. Enjoy time together and really listen to one another.
